Welcome — I am a Calgary-based journalist, media trainer and communications specialist specializing in business and political reporting, with extensive experience conducting media training in developing countries. My work has appeared in the New York Times, Financial Times, Maclean’s magazine, the Toronto Star and Canadian Medical Association Journal, among others. I previously edited North American and European business and political news for Australia’s Business Spectator.

In 2014, I joined CAWST, the Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology, as a communications officer, which blends my background in journalism and media training in Uganda and Liberia. CAWST is a Calgary-based charity focused on expanding global access to safe drinking water and sanitation by building local knowledge and skills in 68 developing countries.
